Demetria Kalfas-Gordon, is the proud Owner and Team Leader of the Gordon Group, which led to the establishment of HIVE RE Group & Property Management in September 2022. With a career spanning back to the early 2000s as a real estate agent, transitioning into property management in 2008, and achieving the milestone of becoming the Broker/Owner of HIVE RE Group in 2022, I bring a wealth of experience to the table.
At HIVE RE Group, we pride ourselves on being a small boutique agency tailored to meeting the diverse needs of our clients. Whether it's navigating the intricacies of buying or selling properties, managing various types of investments, including residential and multi-family units, handling probate management, corporate rentals, or overseeing second homes to ensure compliance with HOA restrictions, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized service.
While my primary focus has always been on real estate, my role as a property manager has necessitated a deep understanding of the legal landscape surrounding housing. In recent years, the evolving political climate has underscored the importance of advocacy. It's become evident that there's a critical need to educate the public, policymakers, and stakeholders on the nuanced impact of housing laws. The challenges emerged during the last legislative session, revealing a gap in understanding among those crafting bills designed to protect us. My commitment is to bridge this gap by offering education and insights into how real estate and property management truly operate, highlighting both positive and negative aspects. I believe that informed decisions lead to better policies that safeguard the interests of both property owners and tenants.

With a career beginning in property management in 1996, I established PRMC (Professional Rental and Management Corporation), evolving into co-founding Legend Realty and Cherry Development. Legend Realty, focusing on real estate sales, also served as the sales and marketing arm for Cherry Development, leading to the development of two high-rise condo buildings in downtown Las Vegas. Despite the economic downturn, my journey continued as I joined Associa in 2010, starting as a Resident Services Coordinator and later advancing to General Manager. Specializing in high-rise condo management, I have overseen properties such as Soho Lofts, Trump Towers, and Veer Towers.
Currently, I serve as the Regional Director for RHOME, a subsidiary of Associa, where I manage operations across nine states. Additionally, I maintain an active partnership and investment role with Cherry Development, which is currently developing multifamily projects, including the shareDOWNTOWN apartments.
My professional credentials include being a licensed Real Estate Broker, Property Manager, and Supervising Community Manager. I hold a CPM designation through IREM, am a member of CAI and a NARPM PAC Trustee. Additionally, I serve on the HOA board at my community.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring new gyms, biking, RVing, and experiencing the great outdoors, whether it's the lake, mountains, or hiking trails. I am also devoted to my family, enjoying life with my wife and our teenage daughter.
